Lately I have been using Vichy Purete Thermale Purifying Foaming Water to cleanse my face and I have to say its a lot of fun. It is foaming water which cleanses the skin, the first time I used this I pumped the container about four times - which was basically enough product to cleanse a small country. A little goes a long way - one pump is enough for your entire face.
With just one pump you have a handful of magical foam which gently cleanses your skin. The foam clears pores of impurities and dirt and gives a deep clean for fresh skin and a look of radiance. As its a Vichy product its perfect for those with sensitive skin and is alcohol-free, soap-free, colorant-free and is non-comedogenic.
The product has no added fragrance, I find that it smells almost sterile. Its not unpleasant but if your looking for something that smells like a flower garden this is not it (mind you any product that is overly fragranced is probably aggravating your skin).
Although the foam is gentle enough to use on your eyes I have been using La Roche Posay Micellar Solution to remove my eye make up and then cleanse my face with the Vichy Foam. Its quick and simple cleansing - don't let the foam fool you its not messy at all. I rub the foam over my face and rinse off with water.
I love to use this quick and simple cleanser - and who doesn't love a cleanser that lets you pretend your Santa Claus ? (Everybody makes foam beards - Right?). Vichy Purete Thermale Purifying Foaming Water is available from most chemists and costs approx €14.00 - remember a little goes a long way so you will have this ages (unless you want to cover your dog with foam and pretend he is Sean the Sheep - I have never done this).
