Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara Review

You know a mascara is good when you go to take a picture of your lipstick and the only thing you notice are your lashes - and I wear some intense lipsticks.  Max Faxtor's new Clump Defy Volumising Mascara* is that mascara.  If you read this blog you may be aware that I have approximately 4 lashes on each eye, they are short and fair and pretty unimpressive. It's OK don't worry, they are curly, really curly (we all have our redeeming qualities).

Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara

Clump Defy - named for its ability to allow you to apply multiple coats without clumping (they are not lying about that either) - is housed in a purple tube with a curved plastic wand.  The curved short bristles on the wand prevents the clumping but I find the combination perfect for reaching those lashes on the inside and outside of the eye.  Usually when I apply mascara most of it applies to the lashes in the centre of my eye, the lashes on the outside of my eye (those lashes you actually want coated for that sex kitten effect) are left short and bare, however Clump Defy gets at every single short lash from inside of the eye to the outside.

Before: Below are my naked and bare lashes, as you can see they are short, any length is in the centre, but have a good amount of lift and curl.  All in all they are pretty sad looking lashes - somebody please remind me never to leave the house looking like this.

After:  WOW I don't know about you but I am impressed.  Clump Defy deposits the mascara evenly over the whole lash and even my little baby outside lashes look fuller and longer.  They give me Happy Lashes.  I am also amazed at how much the mascara opens up my eyes and makes me look more awake.

For me the proof is in the pictures.  I am really loving this mascara it gives me length and volume without any clumps.  Max Factor Clump Defy is available where Max Factor is sold and costs €13.99, a great buy in my opinion.
