Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry and Pureology Fabulous Lengths Treatment Strength Cure

I have been busy looking after my hair lately, I know that sounds like something everybody should do but to be honest with you I have masses of hair and don't really have the time.  Usually I wash my hair, tip it upside down, blow dry and hope for the best.  Lately after I wash my hair I have been applying Pureology Strength Cure Fabulous Lengths* RRP € 25 all over my hair.  Pureology as the name implies is a brand of products using natural products that are vegan and paraben free or as they say s "a brand with a sustainable vision, Pureology continually works to reduce its environmental impact through efficient production and manufacturing processes and by incorporating more environmentally preferred materials".   Fancy, the only vegan thing I know is the Hot Vegan Guy who comes into where I work and I am pretty sure he causes my hair to frizz.

I apply a few pumps of Pureology to the lengths of my hair after I wash it and wrap it back in a towel for a few minutes and then spray my hair with Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer* €19.20.  Pillow Proof is a duo phase product - I am not sure what it is about duo phase hair products but man they seem to work.  Pillow Proof has a slight scent to it, not pleasant like flowers more like a hair product scent - not pleasant but not as bad as perm solution or similar hair product.  To be honest with you its not bad at all and the fact that Pillow Proof works so well I ignore it.  Also there is no smell left on your hair when its dry so its something I have happy ignored because the results of Pillow Proof are so good.

I decided to really put Redken Pillow Proof to the test.  I have a lot of hair, that's an understatement I HAVE A TON OF HAIR, its long and for the most part when I am drying it I just flip it upside down and hope for the best.  Even during the summer when I try and give my hair a break from the hairdryer and put it in plats or buns I wake up 24 hours after washing it and its still wet.  I always feel it takes ages to wash my hair, sometimes its such an effort (diva hair strop).  So I thought right Redken lets see if you actually save me time drying my hair ... I will set a time challenge.  I set my phone for 3 minutes, I spent the first 3 minutes with my head flipped over doing a general dry, the next 3 minutes on the bottom section of my hair and the final 3 minutes drying the top layer of my hair.  So that is 9 minutes to dry a Sasquatch to a smooth lady.  MAN IT WORKS.  Now my hair is shorter I give my hair a general blast for 2 minutes, bottom layer for 2 minutes and top layer for 2 minutes.  That's 6 minutes for salon straight hair (I realise this is slightly OCD of me to time but I am so impressed).
The first time I used Pillow Proof I had a meeting in work and EVERYBODY kept telling me how well I looked and how nice my hair was (even my male colleagues who I am pretty sure hadn't noticed that I actually had hair before).  Most of the time I just rough dry my hair but with Pillow Proof I can really give it a Salon type finish.  I haven't tried to dry my hair into curls using Pillow Proof (I think with my masses of hair its better left to a trained professional).

So the first thing I discovered that day was... I must go into work with my hair like Crazy Cat Lady. The second and more important fact is that it doesn't have to take ages to dry and style your hair, if you have help from Pillow Proof.

If I was to repurchase one thing it would be without a doubt Pillow Proof - although I use the two products in conjunction with each other I think Pillow Proof is the product doing the heavy lifting - no only does the product work it works fast and every time I use it I get compliments on my hair.
