Current obsession May Favourites - Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder

I was going to record a video on my May Favourites but as I thought about it I realised I had mostly been using the same products as last month.  I really had only one standout this month and its the discovery of Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder* which I started using by accident.  I was picking up a new concealer (I fell down the blogging rabbit hole and bought Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer)  the makeup artist asked did I set my concealer.  I have to be honest most powders feel very heavy on my skin, hate the feeling, hate the flat look so I don't use a powder.  The Makeup artist dusted some of their own powder under my eyes and around my face using a large fluffy eyeshadow brush explaining that a larger brush can move your foundation.  Off I went with my concealer in hand.
When I got home I realised that I had Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder and when I tried it I realised its freaking fantastic.  I had always been afraid that powders would make my skin dry and cakey looking.  I use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to buff Vichy Dermablend into my concealer around my eyes, around my nose and down my T zone.  Dermablend looks white in the pot but buffs in leaving a transparent and natural looking finish.  My skin doesn't look caky or old.  I was very nervous about setting my under eye concealer, I have a few laughter lines (they are wrinkles OK, I admit it) but Dermablend sets the concealer without caking or settling in the creases.  At the end of a long day there might be a little settling in the lines which I can easily blend out with my finger (I'm not going to stay straight faced and serious all day, smiles happen).

At €20.00 for 28g of product Vichy Dermablend is a fantastic setting powder at an affordable price, it will suit every skin tone as it really does blend transparent.  I use the powder quite lightly as I don't really like a Matt finish (even thought I have oily skin), you can use more powder to create a more Matt finish.
I realise this post is only the one product (I have been using mostly the same as my April Favourites) which is very light for a May Favourites post, I happen to think that the product I have discovered is Pretty Dam Good and has changed how my makeup lasts and looks throughout the day.  (Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation is also pretty dam good  -if short on shade selection- I thought it would be cakey and heavy but its quite natural).

If your looking for a setting powder Dermablend is brilliant.
