Jimmy Choo Blossom

When I first saw the advertisement for Jimmy Choo Blossom* I was immediately reminded of New York.  I not sure if its the thoughts of shoes and sophistication or that the image makes me think of Sex and the City and Eternal Spring which the programmed inhabited (Oh to live in eternal spring).  The image is full of glamour and possibility much like the city of New York itself (although any visitor from Ireland will have usually walked the feet of themselves and couldn't fit their foot in a Jimmy Choo shoe by the end of a day of wonder and excitement).

Jimmy Choo Blossom is a floral and fruity fragrance with a delicate kick of musk at the end. Its not as sweet as the original Jimmy Choo fragrance. The bottle is the same as Jimmy Choo Flash (which my nose never liked) except pink.  Its apologetically feminine in both the packaging and the fragrance.

Top Notes: Italian Citrus, Red Berries, Raspberry
Heart Notes:  Sweet Peas, Bulgarian Roses,
Base Notes: Pink Musk, Sandalwood.

Jimmy Choo Fragrances are interesting as they are adored by the masses but my friends who are perfume aficionados (including the beautiful and talented Artdonatella)  are not fans of the scents.  Perhaps its because the original fragrance is really sweet and some could consider it quite a young fragrance.

The fruity notes in Jimmy Choo Blossom make it a young and fresh scent but the musk and sandalwood give it a little more dept.  I am not usually a fan of traditional floral fragrances but I adore this scent.

Fragrances are very personal as scents can evoke a particular time, place and memory.  I have a very big place in my heart from Jimmy Choo Blossom because it came into my life just after the birth of my son so the sweet floral scent will forever be linked with a happy and loving time.

While its not Spring (eternal or otherwise) Jimmy Choo Blossom is a beautiful feminine scent.
Jimmy Choo Blossom is out now and 40 ml costs €45.  Pin It
