La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Serum Review

La Roche Posay Hydraphase Intense Serum

I'm a big fan of La Roche Posay - I love they way they have such a wide range of products targeting specific skin concerns. I would say my skin is classic combination - oily in parts and dehydrated in others. I have to be careful with the products I use, as even though my skin can feel dry, heavy moisturisers clog things up fairly quickly and I end up in that horrible dry and flaky, yet still spotty, situation. Hate that! If you feel like your moisturiser just isn't cutting it, but are wary of using something too heavy, you should definitely try introducing a serum into your routine. Containing that magic ingredient, hyaluronic acid, Hydraphase Intense Serum* is a really light gel that sinks into the skin immediately.

I'm usually skeptical of the claims of skincare products, but I was so impressed by this. It made such a difference from the very first application - my skin was smoother, more even, and felt more comfortable. The only complaint I would have about this is that I wish it came in a larger bottle - I seemed to fly through the 30mls. I basically just need a big vat of this stuff. At €23, however, it's a lot more affordable than similar serums on the market. This is something I'll definitely be purchasing myself to get my mug in shape for summer.

  1. I discovered this a few weeks ago, and I don't think my skin has ever looked better.

    1. The Rosaliac? Yep, I think this would work well with any moisturiser, I was using it with various random ones :)

    1. Yeah I agree, I went through it very quickly too - even if they made it 50ml for the same price or as you say, changed the packaging to reduce the costs.

    1. I would definitely recommend trying this Andreea - plus it's almost a tenner cheaper than Hyaluron ;)

  5. I got the Vichy skin-scanner thing done the other day and was 50% dehydrated! The chemist was so friendly and knew loads so I bought the Aqualia Thermal Masque on her suggestion. I've only used it once so far but it felt instantly soothing and my skin looked so smooth.

She said that I should give this a go too and I remembered that I had it last summer but it's nowhere to be found now. I don't remember running out of it at all! I'll have to get my hands on another bottle, I'm racking up dehydration lines like nobody's business.

Also from this range, she said I should give the eyecream a go. I think I've tried every other one ever so I'm waiting for my Lauder to run out, to get paid and then it's next on my purchase list.

  6. I haven't tried this one, but I'm a big fan of La Roche-Posay in general. The Rosaliac serum and moisturiser are staples in my skincare routine.
